Hamad International facing the Persian Gulf is a base hub of Qatar Airways, the state-owned flag carrier of Qatar, whose planes have the Arabian oryx—the national animal of Qatar—on their tails and engine cowlings. So what I'm doing here is more like an oryx-watching.
ペルシア湾に面したこの国際空港は、カタールの国営ナショナルフラッグキャリアであるカタール航空のベースハブ。カタール機の垂直尾翼とエンジンカウルには、同国を象徴する動物であるアラビアオリックスが描かれている。だから今日は、バードウォッチングというよりは、どちらかというとオリックスウォッチング。
