REMBRANDT HOTEL TOKYO MACHIDA

For some reason, I had to stay in Machida—one of Tokyo's suburban cities. This hotel, run by a Kanagawa-based company that has hotels even in Kyushu, Hokkaido, and Vietnam, used to be a Best Western brand hotel until last year, and seems like the best in town (They still don't have a property in Holland, even though they took their brand name from a Dutch painter). I thought it could be another no-frills, cookie-cutter Japanese business hotel, but the room I got was spacious and functional enough. They exceeded my expectation.
