Strolled on
Mukai (meaning "on the other side") Island, literally on the other side of the Onomichi Suido Strait from downtown
Onomichi. During a walk, I made a stop at a tiny
okonomiyaki pancake place and had a fabulous Hiroshima-style
okonomiyaki.
尾道水道をはさんで
尾道の街の向かいにあるから
向島。そんなストレートな名前を持った島を歩く。途中、小さなお好み焼き屋で絶品の広島風お好み焼きを食べることができた。
