To me, WBC doesn't mean a baseball match. It means World Business Class on my dear Northwest Airlines. Unfortunately, starting this month, the name will be merged with Delta's BusinessElite and disappear due to the Delta/NWA merger. Speaking of WBC, I still have fond memories of the smaller upper deck of the 747-200. It was originally used for First Class, but was converted to WBC after NWA discontinued international First Class service, keeping the same interior. So the cabin was spacious, had a private feel, and gave me one of the best C-class experiences of my entire flying life. So long, WBC. Thanks for all the wonderful trans-Pacific memories. This is the 1999 menu from my travel file.
