BOSO VIEW EXPRESS

Taking a short trip to Choshi, Chiba Prefecture, from the underground platform at Tokyo Station on JR East's Shiosai limited express service operated by the 255 series EMU nicknamed Boso View Express. The train is very vacant so I can enjoy a relaxing ride.

東京駅地下ホームから千葉の銚子まで、JR東日本の特急しおさいで短い旅に出かける。車両はBoso View Expressという愛称を持つ255系電車。ほとんど誰も乗っていないので、のんびり移動できる。

An interesting partition is a remnant of the time when the car had both a smoking section and a non-smoking section.

面白いパーテーションは、この車両が喫煙席と禁煙席の両方を持っていた時代の名残り。
