The outside of the
hotel building looks like a characterless suburban apartment. Still, once you step inside, you can enjoy the sophisticated spatial design by the Japanese design firm TONERICO: INC. The industrial ceiling over the corridors, often seen in
US boutique hotels, gives a stark contrast with the wooden decor used in the Japanese
ryokan context. And almost every corner in the public space has some design element that pleases your eyes while exploring the hotel.

USのブティックホテルでしばしば見られるインダストリアルなスケルトン天井になっていて、日本旅館の文脈を持つ木を使った内装とのコントラストが面白い。しかもパブリックスペースのあらゆる場所に様々なデザイン的仕掛けが用意されているので、館内の探検が楽しくなる。
