ANDO IN PARIS PART1

M. François Pinault and Mr. Tadao Ando transformed an 18th-century wheat market, later a commodities exchange, into a shrine of modern art. When I stood inside the rotunda, which has a gigantic glass cupola and a magnificent mural, I felt like the building purified my mind.

フランソワ・ピノー氏と安藤忠雄氏によって、のちに商品取引所として使われた18世紀の小麦市場が現代美術の神殿に生まれ変わった。巨大なガラスのクーポールと壮大な壁画を持つロトンダの中に立つと、建物が精神を純化してくれるように感じる。
