BLOOD, SWEAT, AND TEARS—A LIFE OF DESIGN

I checked out the retrospective exhibition of Eiko Ishioka titled "Blood, Sweat, and Tears—A Life of Design" held at the Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo in Kiba. The exhibition itself is super powerful, but I think Tokyo's most important public museum for contemporary art deserves more accessible location and more iconic architecture.

木場の東京都現代美術館で開かれている、石岡瑛子氏の回顧展「血が、汗が、涙がデザインできるか」を観に行った。展覧会自体はとてもパワフルだったが、東京で最も重要な現代美術のパブリックミュージアムには、もっと行きやすいロケーションと、もっとアイコニックな建築を与えてあげるべきだったと思う。
