A TRAIN AND TUBE DAY PART1

Starting my Train and Tube day from the iconic Victoria Station, which still bears the name of Southern Railway - one of the "Big Four" British railway companies in the early 20th century.

本日はトレイン＆チューブの日。まずはアイコニックなビクトリア駅から。駅舎には20世紀初頭の英国鉄道会社「ビッグ4」の一つ、サザン鉄道の名がまだ残されている。

Next stop, Euston. Checking out an Avanti West Coast train using the British Rail Class 390 EMU, which might have hit a small animal or bird. The Class 390 is a high speed tilting train in the Pendolino family built by Alstom.

次はユーストン駅で小動物か鳥にぶつかったらしいアヴァンティ・ウェスト・コーストの列車をチェック。車両はアルストム製車体傾斜式高速電車「ペンドリーノ」のファミリーに属するイギリス鉄道390形EMU。

Arrived at Willesden Junction from Euston on the London Overground Lioness Line. When I was about to change to the Bakerloo Line Tube here...

ユーストンからロンドン・オーバーグラウンドのライオネス線でウィルズデン・ジャンクション駅までやってきた。ここでチューブのベーカールー線に乗り換えようとしたら・・・

...I found a cafe with a perfect name for me on the platform. Of course I made a pit stop for a cup of coffee.
